Call for Abstracts

It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the upcoming 50th Anniversary Conference of the Austrian Society for Biomedical Engineering (ÖGBMT). We cordially invite you to submit abstracts presenting outstanding research activities in the field of biomedical engineering. The abstracts should represent the work of your research group and emphasize both the scientific excellence and the future potential of the topic. In the spirit of building bridges between the past and the future, we place particular emphasis on contributions that reflect the historical development of our field and at the same time open up forward-looking perspectives. The range of topics covers a broad spectrum of modern biomedical technology and research - including, for example:

  • Modeling and Simulation
  • Electrophysiology
  • Biomechanics
  • Bioinformatics
  • Data Analysis
  • Biomedical Implants
  • Nanoparticles
  • Bioelectronics
  • Biomimetics
  • Biomedical Informatics
  • Biomaterials
  • Functional electrical stimulation and movement rehabilitation
  • Biomedicall Imaging
  • Human Brain-Computer Interaction
  • Biomedical device design
  • Regulatory Affairs
  • Hospital technology
  • Education
